Social Ministries
We strive to promote and foster an environment of hospitality to all church members and the communities at large in our sphere of influence.
As an integral part of the mission, structure and function of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in the community, members of the Social Ministries embrace the concept that humanity was endowed with the innate capacity for socialization, companionship, to be loved and to give love, and to procreate, and for fellowship as recorded in (Geneses 1:26,27;2:7,21-25)
Women’s Ministry
Women serve as important leaders in the North Aurora Adventist Church. Their spiritual, emotional, physical and social needs are of huge importance. The Women’s Ministries Department supports programs that help women rise to their full potential as leaders in their homes and communities. The department backs mentorship and academic scholarship programs for young women. It also hosts events around the world opposing domestic abuse and other violence against women.
Men’s Ministry
Men’s ministry at the North Aurora Adventist Church is simply a Christ-centered, relationship-based, discipleship journey specifically designed to help men succeed and lead in all dimensions, roles, and stages of life. Our holistic men’s ministry program helps men move from isolation and brokenness into healthy community and wholeness.
Family Life Ministry
The Family Ministries Department is dedicated to strengthening families through services like premarital guidance, marriage seminars, coaching for parents, and special Bible education tailored to families. At the North Aurora Adventist Church, we Believe family worship is a important practice in growing in Christ.
Young At Heart
We want to encourage those in our Fellowship who are 50 and over to participate in activities that foster spiritual growth and health, age-level educational pursuits, evangelistic outreach, and wholesome fellowship events. To promote strong focal points of need so that people may be involved in an area that interests them.
